Beau is my keeper male from the Far Field Louisiana Red litter. He is a striking, structurally
sound male with a short back, long arched loin, sweeping rear, bend of stifle, short hocks, hare feet, and long properly carried tail. He has a particularly nice head and expression with strong under jaw, large teeth, high set ears, dark eyes, and roman finish. Beau has the long, light, balanced movement I treasure. Temperament-wise, he’s a very confident, smart, out-going boy who looks to please.
Beau started out with a sweeps placement from the 9-12 class at the 2013 Nationals under breeder/judge Irina Terra. After this, he was put up to mature while kennel mates got out. At his first show weekend as an (immature) adult, he was awarded a 5 point major by Meghann Lord-Fenn at a BCOA supported show (1/14). He came back out a year later and went RWD to majors 3 days. At 3 1/2 he is coming into his own and took his second 5 point major under Francis Forrester (6/16). He picked up those last 2 singles going Best of Breed over a special (6/18).

Beau showed strong interest in lure games (and beautiful running form) but time, and opportunity got in the way for lure coursing. He took well to Fast CAT and finished his title handily.

Bred to Souci, Beau sired a beautiful litter of 7 healthy pups. Details on the Louisiana Wild Litter page. I kept a daughter Kiss, who earned her BCAT at 15 months and was a BCOA TSE Best in Sweeps winner. Daughter Eva earned her CA at 18 months, was major pointed at 15 months, and won the BCOA 2017 Futurity class. Sons River and Cypress are also conformation pointed.
